Ms. Susan Speer
Accountant
B.A. Cleveland State University
Why I love my job: Working at Lawrence has given me a genuine sense of helping kids live to their potential and feel confident and valued. Even though I'm behind the scenes, I feel so enriched and humbled by the experience and look forward to coming to work.
Best part of the day: I especially enjoy taking phone calls from parents. It’s so meaningful when they tell me how Lawrence has changed their child's life and the life of their family.
Spotted off-campus: I am a nature lover and can be found kayaking, hiking, and biking in the wonderful parks of Northeast Ohio. I also love being creative and enjoy pottery, painting, knitting, and paper crafts.
Something others don’t know about me: I love animals and have volunteered for animal rescue groups for more than a decade. I also volunteered in Africa at an AIDS orphanage and fell in love with the children and the communities that support them.
