Mrs. Jessica Troike
Lower School Teacher
B.A. Ohio Northern University
M.A. University of Scranton
What drew me to Lawrence: I started working for Lawrence as a substitute teacher and fell in love with how the students were taught. I knew one day I wanted to be at Lawrence permanently. Now, every day, I get to help my students learn in a way that works best for them.
Favorite subject to teach: Reading—each student is in a different place on their reading journey, and I get to help them see the value in reading, however that may look in their life.
Spotted off-campus: I can often be found outside, whether it’s hiking, riding my bike, or just exploring nearby areas. When I’m not taking my daughters to dance, ice skating, or lacrosse, my husband and I enjoy date nights. I also love to work out and virtually coach and guide other ladies on their health and fitness journies.
Something others don’t know about me: I am an active alumnae member of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity and the Alumnae District Director for District IV, which includes Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
