Why I love my job: I love interacting with students and families on a daily basis—it creates a special connection that cannot be replicated anywhere but Lawrence.

What drew me to Lawrence: Very few places cultivate a healthy and positive interaction between staff and family the way Lawrence does. The sense of family as a whole is incredible.

Best part of the day: I love seeing the results of students’ hard work, whether that be college acceptance, military signing, or making a career choice. Before coming to Lawrence, some students were told they would never go to college, and this achievement makes each minute of working together worth it.

Spotted off-campus: I can frequently be spotted at the park or out and about with my wife, son, and our little dog enjoying fresh air and laughter.
