What drew me to Lawrence: I fell in love with Lawrence after my first day of subbing. I loved the atmosphere and how kind and welcoming the staff, students, and parents were—and that hasn't changed.

Favorite subject to teach: I love teaching about ancient world history, the Romans, and the Roaring 20s. Outside of the classroom, I also enjoy working with students during the Winter and Spring musicals.

Something others don’t know about me: I used to cook professionally and had my own catering business.

Spotted off-campus: I love traveling around the U.S. to State and National Parks. You might spot me hiking at Crater Lake in Oregon or Yosemite National Park. I also love seeing Pearl Jam in concert with my best friend.
