What drew me to Lawrence: Teaching and seeing student’s grow in the classroom has always brought me joy. Lawrence is a school that puts its students first and supports teachers in creating an amazing learning environment with inclusive and diverse approaches. I feel supported here and look forward to coming in each day.

Something others don’t know about me: I can wiggle my ears!

Spotted off-campus: I enjoy going on runs in the park and finding new places to hike. I also enjoy spending time with my large family.

Why I chose my profession: Growing up, I always enjoyed working with kids whether it was babysitting, at summer camps, or tutoring. Seeing children achieve their goals motivated me to reach for mine. Eventually, I realized teaching was a passion and decided to pursue it as a career.
