What drew me to Lawrence: I believe our core values align. My master's program was largely based on diversity, equity, and inclusion which is a very big part of Lawrence. Lawrence also has a very welcoming community of faculty that supports collaboration and growth as educators.
Favorite subject to teach: I love teaching The Great Gatsby.
Best part of the day: Whenever I can have a conversation with a student and ask them how their day is going or their weekend was. Those little moments are some of the best.
Spotted off-campus: Going to concerts and spending time with my fiancé and our families are some of my favorite things. You might also spot me browsing the book section at Target, buying an unnecessary amount of decor at HomeGoods, or taking care of all my flowers in my garden.
