Dr. Sarah Adams is a Board-Certified Pediatrician at Akron Children's Hospital and a prominent national voice in pediatric health, serving as a National Spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She graduated summa cum laude from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences and a concentration in Chemistry. After graduation, Dr. Adams earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, later completing her pediatric internship and residency at Akron Children's Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Adams connects with families everywhere as the host of the Growing Up With Dr. Sarah podcast, where she addresses general health and wellness, parenting, family dynamics, and the real-life challenges that affect us all.
Deeply committed to education and philanthropy, Dr. Adams and her husband, John, were recognized in October 2009 for their generous funding of the John R. and Sarah A. Adams Honors College Amphitheater at The University of Akron. They are also proud sponsors of The University of Akron Honors College Speakers Series.
Dr. Adams currently lives in Hudson with John and their sons, Gabriel and Benjamin, and enjoys actively volunteering in her community.
