A huge thank you to Ryan Cordaro '20 for stopping by Upper Campus on Wednesday morning and speaking to our 11th and 12th grade students. Joined by Upper School Music Teacher Stafford Merk, Cordaro spoke about his time at Lawrence, experiences in postsecondary classrooms, the importance of self-advocacy, and much more.
During his time at Lawrence, Ryan was an active member of our community, participating in the choir, the spring musical (where he played Shrek in his senior year), the winter play, bowling club, and serving as a student ambassador, in addition to being an annual performer at the Coffeehouse. Upon graduation, he continued his journey downtown at Cleveland State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Film Studies in December 2024.
Today, Ryan contributes to the "Guy At The Movies" blog, critiques films, has served as a film judge at the Eerie Horror Fest, writes short films, and works part-time, while currently looking into applying to pursue his master’s degree. We're incredibly proud of Ryan and all he's accomplished!
