Lawrence Student's Artwork Featured on IDA Magazine Cover

The artwork featured on the spring cover of the International Dyslexia Association's Perspectives on Language and Literacy magazine was created by our very own Brianna Ross '19, a senior student at the Upper School campus.

For the cover, Bri worked diligently for more than a month, using sharpie markers to add thousands of dots to create an amazing image of a sea turtle, which she titled "When things get tough, just keep swimming". Click here to see the cover in greater detail.

Bri's artwork was selected as part of a national contest through IDA. The technique is pointillism, where dots of specific colors are placed side-by-side for optical mixing.

In addition to being an accomplished artist, Bri is also a member of the cross country and softball teams at Lawrence. Congratulations Bri!
