The 39 members of the Lawrence School Class of 2019 received their diplomas during our 15th Annual Commencement ceremonies on May 24 at the Upper School.
Representing the Class of 2019, Trinity Offutt Decker '19 addressed her classmates during the ceremony and Co-Valedictorians Veronica Montani '19 and William Nixon '19 delivered the valedictory address. Alana Spilman '11, who earned her Masters Degree from Lynn University this spring, returned to campus to deliver the commencement address.
The winner of this year's Paul M. Matia '09 Scholarship was Makalya Bolon '20. The Matia Scholarship was created by Jim and Sharon Matia, in honor of their son, Paul M. Matia '09, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 25 in 2015.
