Reports to: Director of Enrollment Management
Position Overview: Manages student records, the student information system (SIS) database, online grade books, and other core data collections. As an integral part of the Lawrence team, this position supports both the Lower School campus (grades 2-6 in Broadview Heights) and the Upper School campus (grades 7-12 in Sagamore Hills), but is based primarily at the Lower School. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated professional experience working with student information systems.
JOB DUTIES:
System Oversight: Manage the SIS, lead software upgrades, and evaluate new system solutions to improve efficiency.
Data Integrity & Security: Maintain database performance, troubleshoot technical issues, ensure data security, and establish internal data controls.
Training & Support: Train faculty and staff on SIS usage for attendance, discipline, and grading.
Records & Enrollment Administration
Record Maintenance: Manage comprehensive records for all students (current, new, departing, and alumni), including cumulative folders and scheduling.
Enrollment Operations: Process enrollment/withdrawal activities, transcript requests, and schedule changes; ensure all required annual family forms are completed.
Reporting & Grading: Coordinate the grading cycle (verification, correction, and progress monitoring) and generate report cards, transcripts, honor rolls, and GPA calculations.
Leadership & Coordination
Strategic Support: Assist campus administration with student data analysis and reporting.
Supervision: Supervise the Associate Registrar.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact for staff, parents, and other educational institutions regarding student records and administrative procedures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge and experience with relational databases.
Experience with student information systems.
Experience with MS Office and Google products.
Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail/accuracy, timely implementation, and quality performance.
Consistently exercise discretion and judgment.
